Is it just me or has Gmail’s spam filter system been pretty bunk lately? It worked wonderfully for a very long time and now, I’m getting more and more spam in my inbox daily. A lot of them are phishing scams. You know the type. “I am Ambassador Falahuey and I would like to make a proposal for you my friend”. Whatever!
Anyway, I’m not sure if others are seeing the same trend and maybe Google has adjusted their spam filtering system or not but it’s driving me insane. I believe Matt Cutts had explained a similar set of circumstances early last year but I was unable to find the post. I do know that Google uses Gmail as their own company email system, so I’m not sure if I’m a stray victim or one of millions of people experiencing this. Either way, I hope Google gets it fixed soon because I basically live by my gmail.
Although I guess I can’t really complain much because Gmail is a free service and it has more features than any other free email service I found out there and they give tons of space! If you don’t use Gmail, I would still highly recommend you sign up for an account and use it.

I get bored very easily with the same old wallpaper on my desktop every day, and if you’re like me, you want a variety of new wallpapers to keep you satisfied. I like to base my wallpaper selection for the week on my overall mood. For example I may choose the wallpaper of a man leaning from a cliff if I’m feeling adventurous, etc.
I was nosing through Smashing Magazine this morning and came upon some really cool wallpapers for your computer. There are literally hundreds of free wallpapers to choose from. You could definitely have a new wallpaper for each day of the year if you we’re so inclined. Anyway, check out the collection I found at Smashing Magazine by clicking here.

I found this a little strange when I first saw it but I guess there’s got to be a little humor in everything otherwise, we’d all go crazy. I like the idea because it gives you the opportunity to protect yourself (somewhat) from the Pig Flu and make a much needed fashion statement at the same time. As for mr personall, I think I’d decorate mine as a zombie face or something along those lines since I love horror films. How would you decorate your Pig Flu mask? Or have you?
